Ingrid Wagner – All Day Workshop – Big Knitting

For the first time at The Great English Outdoors we are organising a programme of events In the Great English Garden, to be held over both weekends of this year’s Hay Literary Festival .  Come and visit the gardens, relax on the lawns, enjoy the refreshments on offer and see what is on offer.  We are very excited to have Ingird Wagner of Big Knitting fame, who will be running a creative textile workshop on Sunday 5th June at 2.30pm

As seen on BBC Countryfile, This Morning & Sky TV, textile designer, Ingrid Wagner will be running an all day Workshop and demonstrating her Big Knitting – an exciting & fast contemporary take on a traditional craft, featuring her fabulous recycled Big Knit Yarn and other alternative materials. The event promises to be great fun and very definitely different. This is your chance to learn how to create a contemporary, interior textile in a short amount of time . For all ages. No experience necessary. Ingrid’s Big Knit kits for the home will be available to buy at this event. Don’t miss it!
