Years ago when my son was very little, I had a wonderful short holiday in Algonquin Provincial Park in Canada, where I was staying in a log cabin on an island only accessible by canoe – isolated and so peaceful. And it was there that I first heard the sounds of Wolves howling at night. It was utterly magical and I knew that I was staying somewhere very special.
