This is our smallest bird, weighing no more than a 10 pence coin, it migrates here from Scandinavia for some Winter foraging
A beautiful tiny bird with a golden crest and a delicate song, so high-pitched that some of us without sharp hearing will miss it
Whenever I feel that things are getting tough with all these Covid and Brexit rules and regulations, I just need to think about this jewel like bird and it lifts my spirits
