How to Care For
Leather – To clean leather we advise using specially formulated saddle soap, following the instructions on the tin. If leather gets wet dry it immediately
When the leather begins to look dry or pale, feed with specific dressings, such as Kocholine for heavy cases, Mink Oil for waterproofing, Scandinavian Leather Dressing for Reindeer Leather or Leather Conditioner 4 Way Care or Saddle and Leather Conditioning Soap for everything else
Buff up with a soft shoe brush to regain its shine. All of these recommended products are available in the Leather Care section of our website
Wool Blankets – Wash your blanket in the washing machine on a COLD wool cycle, with delicate, non-biological wool detergent and a little fabric conditioner, if required, or our own specially formulate Wool Wash. If your machine does not have a cold setting, simply wash by hand, using the same method. Spin in the machine to remove excess water. Hang out on the line to dry
DO NOT DRY CLEAN OR TUMBLE DRY. DO NOT WASH WITH HOT WATER
Knitwear – Hand wash with delicate, non-biological wool detergent and a little fabric conditioner, if required, or own specially formulated Wool Wash. Roll in a towel to soak up any excess water and lay out flat to dry
DO NOT DRY CLEAN OR TUMBLE DRY. DO NOT WASH WITH HOT WATER
To protect from moths use our natural anti moth products: Natural Anti Moth Sachets and our own specially formulated Natural Wool Conditioner with natural anti moth ingredients or our Anti Moth Traps and Refills
Sheepskins – It is possible to wash your sheepskin in the washing machine on a COLD wool cycle. Use a gentle spin to remove excess water then hang on the line to dry. Shake the sheepskin as it dries to retain its flexibility. You can use a delicate wool detergent along with a little of our own specially formulated Natural Wool Conditioner

Wood – Clean by hand with warm water and dry immediately. From time to time use a cloth to apply a little olive oil or mineral oil to protect and feed the wood
NOT SUITABLE FOR OVEN, MICROWAVE OR DISHWASHER. SOME OILS AND FOODS MAY MARK OR STAIN WOOD UTENSILS. DO NOT LEAVE WOOD UTENSILS TO SOAK
Horn – Clean by hand with warm water and dry immediately. From time to time use a cloth to apply a little olive oil or mineral oil to protect and feed the Horn. Use a cloth to polish the surface and regain the original shine
