Phoebe Traquair Circular Tray

A beautiful circular tray featuring the work of Scottish artist and craftswoman, Phoebe Traquair (1852 -1936)

The elegant design is inspired by the magnificent 'Willowood Piano' painted by Traquair in 1910, which is on permanent display at the National Museum of Scotland

Diameter: 38 cm

Made in UK

Phoebe Traquair was a contemporary of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, an Irish born artist who achieved international recognition for her role in the Arts and Crafts Movement in Scotland, as an illlustrator, painter and embroiderer.  In 1920 she became the first woman elected to the Royal Scottish Academy
